Accessibility statement
How Rattibo is made accessible, the standard we follow, known limitations, and how to reach our accessibility coordinator.
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Our commitment
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to plan an event and find their table with Rattibo. This statement is published in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
The standard we follow
The site is built to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA; we also apply WCAG 2.1 AA where we can. It is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on phones and computers, and with screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA).
What we did
- Full support for Hebrew and Arabic (right to left) and English, with the page language and direction declared for assistive technology.
- Every action can be done with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring and a "skip to content" link.
- Alternatives to dragging: every guest and table can be moved through a menu ("Move to table…") instead of drag and drop.
- Text and controls meet AA contrast ratios; colour is never the only way information is shown (for example over-capacity is also written).
- Labels for form fields and icon buttons, headings in order, and live announcements for search results and saved status.
- Touch targets of at least 44 pixels, and pages that work zoomed to 200% and on narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Animations are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The guest lookup page is a simple, single-field search that works with screen readers.
Known limitations
- The floor-plan canvas is visual: a screen reader announces tables and objects, but positions are best understood through the tables list, which offers the same information as text.
- Print views follow the browser's print support; the PDF they produce is not tagged for screen readers.
- The card payment page is provided by PayPlus and is outside our control.
- The Arabic text was machine-assisted and is being reviewed by a native speaker.
- A full manual audit with assistive technology is in progress; we fix what it finds as we go.
If you meet a barrier, please tell us: we will help you complete what you were doing another way, and fix it.
